The Power of Words

In class, I will challenge you! I know you all can do it and we will work together to grow our brains and become brighter, smarter and wiser.

You will write - a lot, read - a lot and my hope is that you will leave this class with a deeper understanding of the power each word has in our language. My hope is that you will have fun while learning but at the same time, you become more independent in your thought process, you participate and share your ideas with the class and you become part of the community - the community in room E114 (Mrs. Thornton's English Class).
